Commune

Commune is the project behind this wiki. It started as a vision for a platform where people share their thinking in public through Evergreen Notes.

The idea: talk into your phone. AI drafts Atomic Notes (AI shapes voice dumps into atomic notes). You connect things. Published notes become Evergreen Notes you navigate, not posts fighting for attention.

Discovery runs on time, follows, and why. No feeds. No algorithms. Just your thinking in the open. You can read notes for free, but deeper exploration requires a subscription (Subscription unlocks depth into the mind).

I run The Commune box at home. Thoth, my always-on agent node, makes the self-hosting piece real. You control what publishes. The platform doesn’t own your notes.

A lot of what I was building toward showed up in other tools. OpenClaw does similar things. Main Branch proved the reference file system works for running a business. Whether Commune becomes its own platform or the ideas just keep living in projects like these, the thinking was worth it.
